Envision Your Ideal Kitchen

Transcription

Here is our quote of the week. Stop waiting for the perfect time to organize. Take this moment and make some progress. Guys there will never be a time where everything is just right. We will always be busy with work and kids and just life. So if you really want to organize, you need to shift your priorities and make time for it and I promise once you’ve put your house in order you will see that you actually have more time to do the things you love and spend time with the people you love. So if you are ready to de-clutter and organize once and for all I can show you how in one of my upcoming webinars. I’ll see you soon.

“Mom, what’s for dinner?” The fun question that rings in a mother’s ear daily quickly turns into fingernails on a chalkboard.  Answer, “Let’s get takeout tonight guys.”

We’ve all been there. You are tired when you come home from a busy day at work and the last thing you want to do is clean off your countertops so you have space to cook. You’re human and you deserve a night off. However, when takeout becomes a regular part of your family’s diet, it’s time to start turning your attention to the reason behind it.

Often I hear clients complain that they don’t like to cook because there is no space from too much clutter that has taken over. Piles of paper and mail, odds and ends left by the kids, boxes from ordering on Amazon, and so forth. There is literally no room left for the one thing the kitchen was meant for, cooking

So, here is a little clip to share how I help my clients take back their kitchen.

Envision – Visit your kitchen and envision what you want it to look like and feel like.

When you visualize what you want the space to look like, write down what you see.

No paper piles.

Clear countertops.

Dishes put away.

Organized spice rack.

And so on…

Many of my clients enjoy creating a vision board with pictures to help them bring it to life even more, if this is something you’d like to try.

This all sounds so simple, but it’s such an effective and powerful way to help you get motivated to start tidying up your kitchen. By envisioning your ideal kitchen and taking the steps to create it, you can enjoy an organized, functional, and beautiful space that makes meal preparation a joy.

That way, the next time your family asks you “What’s for dinner?”, your answer can be, “We are having meatloaf tonight.” ……… Or maybe something else.
